Tapermoon lighting uses a unique and captivating shade element to create a myriad of creative and lively lighting objects, from individual lamps to more expansive installations. The continuously growing family of products currently includes six designs, Matrix, Bow, Sky, Ray, Cloud, and Eclipse.
Tapermoon originated from a serendipitous moment when toying with a bus ticket while riding public transit in Portland, Oregon. From there an intense and joyful design process unraveled, generating numerous prototypes—ultimately leading to the origami-inspired shade element that is now patented, the fundamental ‘Tapermoon’.
